Story
The founder of Caybaby have tried many different diapers for little baby Cay, realised that not all diapers are made the same, and decided to delve deeper into the details and production of diapers.
Disposable diapers bring about a great convenience in modern world, but the safety of the materials used can pose significant environmental and health concerns. Most diapers use plastic and that’s not good for babies!
Setting out to look for better alternatives, and after trying out many brands and factory samples, Caybaby customised our very own diapers made of organic bamboo, with no toxins, no fluorescent agent, no chlorine, no fragrance, no alcohol, no preservatives, no paraben, no phthalates, no latex, no PVC, no lead, no BPA and no tributyltin (TBT). We believe in providing complete transparency and full disclosure of our diaper ingredients and what goes into our diapers so parents can make the best informed decision for your baby.

While disposable diaper are not exactly the most environmentally friendly compared to using washable cloth diapers, most working parents would be too busy to handle these and would still prefer to use disposable diapers for its convenience. Instead of simply doing away with disposable diapers, we seek to make them as eco-friendly as we can.
Top sheet (inner layer) contacts directly with baby skin and is therefore the most important. Some diapers are lined with aloe oil or other essential oil, but we prefer to keep it natural. Our top sheet is simply made of 100% premium quality bamboo fibre. Soft, tender, comfortable, and most importantly, gentle on skin.
Absorbent core layer is made using industry-leading SUMITOMO SAP (Super Absorbent Polymer) imported from Japan, and the most advanced non-chlorine bleaching treatment TCF (total chlorine free) fluff pulp for ultra-high absorbency.
Back sheet (outer shell) is made of the same 100% premium quality bamboo fibre as the top sheet. Breathable back sheet prevents rash on baby’s gentle skin.
Flexible elastic waist band provide greater comfort on baby’s waist.
We choose bamboo because it is much more sustainable than wood, requiring very little water and grow very fast. Biodegradable rayon made from bamboo is latex free, BPA free, lead free, unscented and free of fragrance. It is natural, soft, comfortable and antimicrobial, good for baby skin, gentle even on sensitive skin. Our bamboo fibre sources are certified by FDA, SGS, OEKO, ISO.
Our diapers are free of chlorine, alcohol, preservatives, paraben, phthalates, latex, PVC, lead, BPA, or tributyltin (TBT).

This pre-order group buy will be running from now till 28 April 2022. Delivery expected in end-May 2022.

Diaper pants sample are currently available for size M (9 – 14 kg), siez L (13 – 16kg) and XL (>16 kg). Sample pants will differ slightly from actual.
Sample fee of $5 + courier fee of $4 will be refunded and offset should you take part in our upcoming Caybaby Diapers GB1.

Retail price is expected to be around $14.90-$17.90 per pack for diaper tapes and $16.90-$19.90 per pack for diaper pants, depending on shipping volume and costs.
We are likely to provide the following benefits for GB1 participant:

– price lock at $13.90 per pack for 2022 & 2023

This is a sample GB. It is a pre-order so we can estimate how much samples to bring in. While this is a pre-order before mass production begins, we already have a completed sample that would be almost similar to the finished product. Kindly be aware that possible delays may arise in the production or shipping process due to any unforeseen circumstances.
